OUR PROCESS
1. Booking Form
Fill out the confidential booking form. Answer the questions as thoroughly as possible. This information is key to helping me understand your personality, interests, and the style of photos you're dreaming of. You'll receive a reply in 1-2 business days to finalize dates & timing.
2. Virtual Meeting
1-2 weeks before your session date, a half hour phone call will give us the time to talk over ideas and plan the session. We'll discuss locations, style/outfits, inspiration photos, time of day, etc. to ensure your photos are exactly what you envision.
3. Sign Contract
Directly after our meeting, you will receive a contract via email. Please take a moment to review, sign, and return it. Returning the signed contract ensures we are both in agreement and prepared for the session.
4. Photos & Prints
After our session, I'll carefully select, edit and finalize your images. Your gallery will be sent to you via email within 3 weeks of our session date, unless otherwise stated. You'll be able to easily share the photos, order prints, and relive all the beautiful memories.
FAQ
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Every client may reschedule the photoshoot with at least 48 hours' notice. The photographer may reschedule the photoshoot with at least 24 hours' notice due to inclement weather.
How will I receive my images?
You'll receive a personalized and private digital gallery where you'll be able to easily download, share, order prints, and relive all the beautiful photographs.
How many photographs will I receive?
Each session includes a minimum of 50 high-resolution, professionally edited images. The number of photos you receive increases with the length of your session and the package you choose, with most sessions delivering between 90 - 125+ final images. I always prioritize capturing every great moment we create together, ensuring you have a wide variety of photos to choose from.
Do you charge travel fees?
Locations within a 30-mile radius of Madison, WI, are included. A small travel fee applies for locations exceeding 30 miles.
A travel fee may apply to drives over 5 miles between multiple locations.
What are my rights to the photos?
You are free to download, share, and print them for your own personal enjoyment! I just ask that you don't use the photos for commercial purposes or sell them without a separate agreement. When you post your favorites on social media, I would absolutely love a tag at @takenbyashtyn—it helps me share your beautiful moments and connect with others!
How can I submit payment?
At this time, I am only able to accept cash payments on the day of your photoshoot. Thank you for your patience; I will be adding new payment options in the near future!
Are your photographs retouched?
Services include light retouching to address temporary blemishes, stray hairs, and minor skin imperfections. This process is subtle and aims to maintain a natural look. I do not provide any form of body reshaping, significant airbrushing, or altering of permanent features. These requests will not be fulfilled as my goal is to deliver authentic, timeless photos that celebrate the real you!
